  Welcome to the APLUS Central Region Website! Welcome to A-plus Central Region; we are ready for a new year. First of all, let me just thank all that attended the Central Region Conference held in Detroit Michigan October 7th and 8th. The Detroit Chapter hosted and did such an excellent job so thanks to Pamela McNary, Alesia Hope, Cheryl Hutchins, Loretta Vaughn, Malea Edwards, Kenneth Bunch, Charita Watkins, Keith Todd, Renatta Washington and the entire Detroit Chapter. We want to say thanks to Betty Davis- Smith for your leadership at the Central Region Conference. Also in attendance was Larry D Lee, Southern Region President. We would like to thank Rochelle Israel from the Great Lakes Area Office and District Manager, Chuck Howe. Tony Alvarado, Jack Watson, Karen, Keith Pugh, were other high ranking US Postal Service managers that attended and supported the A-Plus organization. Thank you. Detroit Chapter President – Pamela McNary St. Louis Chapter President – Glenda Field The Central Region has been growing with the new formation of the Central Illinois Chapter. As a new chapter, Central Illinois strives to serve those in the larger geographic area of Illinois . This chapter grew out of a few members recognizing this need and has doubled in size within its first six months. This effort is now being replicated to grow the existing chapters listed above and to reestablish chapters in Indianapolis, IN and Milwaukee, WI . We expect new chapters to emerge in Gary, IN and Grand Rapids, MI to bring the Central Region to the strength in development for the employee and supporters in those communities.
The dynamic focus of A Plus will have members being promoted that takes them out of the area, so it is now that we need members to step forward to take leadership roles and new comers to be mentored. A Plus gives you a platform to showcase your skills, knowledge and abilities. This is a unique time again as opportunities are present for those with potential, who practice, and prepare with persistence and patience.
