Our goal is to establish chapters in all states to provide mentoring and personal development training for all. These goals can only be accomplished through well equipped, trained, and knowledgeable employees. It is our aim to provide the United States Postal Service with a pool of applicants ready to assume the responsibilities of leading the Postal Service in the 21st century.Although APLUS was formed to provide career development, it has expanded its mission to include personal development. We have been able to offer these additional benefits through partnerships with other organizations providing up to the minute information on a variety of issues involving health, family and financial needs. Regular meetings are held to provide training given by in house subject matter experts and outside professionals. The meetings also provide an opportunity to network with other postal and non-postal individuals that share like interests and common goals.I am truly grateful for the opportunity to lead the Northeast Region and for the confidence you have placed in me. I have been a member of APLUS for 14 years and have met many wonderful people all over the country. The benefits of belonging to an organization such as APLUS have proven to be very valuable in my career and personal life. So if you are not a member, what are you waiting for?
