Welcome to the Eastern Region A-PLUS Page!
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the A-PLUS Eastern Region President for the 2026-2028 term in office. I’m truly humbled, excited, thankful, and blessed. I don’t take this opportunity to serve you, the Eastern Region membership, lightly. I know this is a big responsibility, but I know with your support and dedication to the Goals and Objectives of A-PLUS we will continue to endure, grow and prosper as a region. I want to thank Cynthia Coles, our outgoing President, for her leadership. I look forward to working with the newly elected Eastern Region Board for the 2026-2028 term in office. Last, but not least, my most sincere and heartfelt thank you to the membership of the Eastern Region for electing me as your Eastern Region President.
I am committed to the following priorities for the Eastern Region:
Ø Strong Communications – create consistent and transparent communication so every chapter and member stays informed, connected and engaged.
Ø Support for Chapters – provide leadership, training, resources and guidance to help chapters grow and thrive.
Ø Membership Growth – strengthen recruitment and retention efforts to expand participation across the region.
Ø Transparent Leadership – promote responsible governance, openness and accountability in all regional decisions.
Ø Strong Partnerships – develop new partnerships and sponsorship that bring additional opportunities and resources to the members.
We must always remember and give thanks to our founding fathers for their vision, wisdom, courage, and strength. We have come a long way in the past 39 years, but our work as A-PLUS to develop leaders through training, mentoring, coaching, and leading by example must continue. We have a legacy that we must remember and continue to uphold with dignity, hard work, faith, and strength. Let’s continue to celebrate and build on our legacy.
The 38th Eastern Region Conference will be at the Great Wolf Lodge, in Concord, NC, September 24-27, 2026 (more information to come). I hope to see every A-PLUS Eastern Region member at the 38th Annual Regional Conference.
Once again, I am so proud to be a part of this great organization that I love and support. I am proud to serve you as the 2026-2028 Eastern Region President. I am committed to the Goals and Aims of A-PLUS and I am committed to you the membership. A-PLUS is already great, but together we can and we will make A-PLUS even greater.
